1.Training objectives
This master's program, based on the existing master's degree in law, is specially designed for foreign students and features Chinese commercial law. All courses will be taught in English which aims to enhance the international students' understanding of Chinese culture, Chinese legal system, especially the relevant laws in the commercial field, and its application in China. The program will also expand the influence of Chinese commercial law in the world, and cultivate foreign professionals with strict academic style and good professional ethics, who will be familiar with Chinese commercial law, serve his home country and China in commercial legal exchanges and legal practices.
Specific requirements:
1. Have good English language skills and communication skills to adapt to the Chinese teaching environment.
2. Has completed legal or other undergraduate education in China or has a corresponding legal basis and has the professional basic ability to study law in China.
3. With global awareness and international vision, with good international communication and competitiveness.

2 years of schooling.
3.Course settings (see table below) and credit requirements
The Master of Laws program in China requires 75 credits. Among them, 37 credits for compulsory courses, 18 credits for elective courses, and 20 credits for teaching practice. See the remarks for specific courses.
4.Training plan
The postgraduate training program for the Master of Laws program in China implements a mentor responsibility system, and at the same time, gives full play to the comprehensive advantages of the disciplines and the role of academic groups. According to the training objectives and professional characteristics of the subject, professional basic courses, elective courses and other courses are set up. Among them, in addition to Chinese history and culture, Chinese research courses, degree courses also include compulsory basic courses for graduate students; elective courses mainly highlight the main areas of Chinese commercial law.
At the same time, in order to enhance students' practical ability, the project set up a special legal clinic internship course, including two parts in foreign-related law firms and foreign-related corporate legal internships, to provide conditions for students to engage in legal practice training.
5.Thesis work
Students are required to submit a topic selection report and a plan in the middle of the third semester, and participate in the thesis defense in the sixth semester.
The topic of the thesis should reflect the requirements of international and practical.
The writing of the thesis can be in Chinese or English, and the number of words should be about 25,000 words.
6.Degree award
Students who have completed the required credits and passed the examinations in each course may participate in the thesis defense.
A Master of Law degree and a degree certificate will be awarded through the thesis respondent.
